Apple Inc. developed, created, and distributed the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus[a]. They are the iPhone's eleventh generation. The rose gold and jet black color options have been eliminated,[9] inductive charging has been added, the processor has been sped up, and the cameras and displays have been upgraded. The iPhone X and iPhone 8 and 8 Plus share the majority of their internal components.
